SFSU Process Day
Process Day is an end of semester celebration highlighting students that have showed exceptional student progress and iteration throughout the semester. To be a speaker/presenter you have to be nominated by faculty for a project that showcases strong process either in visual design or industrial design.
My focus for this poster was to invoke older styles of typography that involved long and complicated processes to complete. It’s a historical callback to times where designers had to hand set each individual letter when printing, mix and match type families to fill space, and hand-paint shadows in order to achieve a similar effect.
Before this project, I had the honor of being a presenter in Spring 2024, so designing the poster and speaking at the Spring 2025 event was a full circle moment for me.
